Hello, my name is Christel Williams. I am a Family childcare provider located in Denton, Tx. I am licensed with the state of Texas, able to care for 12 children at any given time. Ages range from 6 weeks to 12 years of age. I have been in the childcare business for over 12 years now. I am married with 2 children of my own that is 12yrs. and 3mts. in age. I am a Full
Texas Rising Star provider for CCS. I have over 350 hours of childcare training covering different areas. Iam currently working to get my CDA, Which I hope to have done by the end of the summer.
I strive to provide a fun, safe, loving, home like atmosphere for children to learn and grow at their own pace. I believe that children are special gifts and should be treated as such. This includes lots of love, patience, understanding, and respect. Children need to feel safe when they are not with their parents. Parents need to feel that their children are safe even when they are not with them. I teach them Life Skills that are not taught in academic schools such as: How to Get Along with Peers, Manners, Resourcefulness, Self Discipline, Self-Esteem, Communication, Healthy Nutrition, and Patience. I will also help your child in developing into their own character.
I also have an assistant, Debbie, she was a daycare parent for about 4 years, and later became my assistant, she is a very loving and careing person, the kids just love her. She is also trained in SIDS, CPR, 1st AID, and exceeds her manditory 20 hours of continued childcare training we have to complete each year.
